What the Law Says

Do I need a licensed plumber for emergency repairs?

Yes. Plumbing and gas work in NSW has to be carried out by a licensed plumber, and that's exactly who turns up when you call us, no exceptions made for a rush job.

What should I do first if I smell gas?

If you smell gas, leave the property and call from outside. Do not flick switches or light flames until we've been out and confirmed it's safe.

What happens if a repair fails after you've left?

That's what the Lifetime Labour Warranty covers. Call us, tell us what's happened, and we'll get it sorted properly without charging you again for the visit.

What is your licence number?

Our licence number is #292427C. It's yours to check any time, and it covers us for both plumbing and gas fitting work under the one trade licence.

How Our Response Works

Do you take calls on Christmas Day and other holidays?

Yes. We're open 24 hours, every day of the year, Christmas Day and every other public holiday included, phones answered the same as any other day.

How do I know if my problem can wait until morning?

If it's actively flooding, backing up through more than one fixture, or you can smell gas, it can't wait. A slow drip or minor blockage is usually fine until morning, though we're still here if you'd rather not risk it.

What happens after I call?

You tell us what's going on and where, we ask a few quick questions to understand the job, and get a plumber moving your way with the right gear already loaded.

Do you answer the phone overnight?

Yes, any hour of the night. A real person answers the phone, not a call centre reading from a script somewhere else.

Questions Specific to Kingsgrove

Do Kingsgrove's older terraces still have galvanised supply pipes?

These streets are mostly interwar and post-war brick homes rather than terraces, but plenty still run on original galvanised supply pipes if the home hasn't been replumbed, and those are prone to bursting without warning.

What's different about servicing Kingsgrove compared to other suburbs?

This suburb mixes a busy retail strip along Kingsgrove Road with pockets of industrial buildings near the station, so we're just as likely to be called to a shop as a house.

What's the most common plumbing emergency in Kingsgrove?

It's usually a burst or leaking pipe, with blocked drains close behind after heavy rain. We see both often enough here to keep vans stocked and ready for either.

Are Kingsgrove's older sewer lines prone to tree-root blockages?

Yes, it's a common issue on the older blocks. Mature street trees send roots into ageing clay sewer joints, and that's a frequent cause of blocked or slow-draining sewer lines.

Money, Fair Pricing and the $0 Call Out Fee

Is GST included in your pricing?

Yes. Every price we give you already includes GST, so there's nothing extra tacked on once the job is done.

Is the call-out really free?

Yes, genuinely. There's $0 Call Out Fee to have a plumber come out and look properly at the problem before any price gets named.

What does Best Price Guaranteed actually mean?

It means the price we settle on before work starts is explained plainly and stands as the right price for the job, not just an opening figure that grows later.

Can I get a written quote before you start?

Yes. You'll always get a fair, upfront price agreed before any work starts, and we're happy to text or email it to you if you'd like a copy for your records.
